Gatlinburg Has No Adult Clubs and That's by Design

Gatlinburg and Sevier County have some of the most restrictive adult-business ordinances in Tennessee, a deliberate policy choice aligned with the city's family-tourism identity and its status as the gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There are no strip clubs, adult theaters, or cabarets within Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

The nearest adult clubs are in the Knoxville metro, about forty-five minutes north on US-441 and I-40. Knoxville's clubs operate on the city's industrial edges and cater mostly to the East Tennessee regional audience, not Smokies tourists.

Gatlinburg chose family-tourism decades ago and the zoning enforces that choice. The town is not subtle about it.
